Planning and Zoning Commission

The Planning Commission is a 7 member commission appointed by the mayor with approval from the board. The Planning and Zoning Commission shall have the power necessary to enable it to perform its functions and promote City planning. The Planning and Zoning Commission shall have the power to perform all of the functions of the Zoning Commission provided for in Chapter 89, RSMo, and shall have and perform all of the functions of a Planning Board as outlined in Zoning Regulations of the City of Laurie’s Municipal Code.

The Planning Commission meets on the Fourth Tuesday of each month at City Hall at 5:00 PM if action is required.

Planning and Zoning Board of Adjustment

The Board of Adjustment shall consist of five members appointed by the mayor with board approval. The Board will hear and decide appeals regarding the zoning regulations.
