The City of Laurie main­tains two beautiful parks comprised of over 50 acres and hosts a multitude of events throughout the year.

Hillbilly Fairgrounds

The Hillbilly Fairgrounds has 27 acres filled with oak trees providing inviting shade dur­ing the summer for the pub­lic to enjoy while using park facilities. The gazebo and little beer garden offer beautiful settings for wed­dings and concerts.

Children have a great time in the spacious playground filled with fun, including swings, a treehouse, slides, and more. The quarter-mile walking trail has two new bridges over the creek, one of which is a covered bridge. The park also has 14 horseshoe pits, three stages, three pavilions, numerous picnic tables, a soccer field, a snack bar, and three restroom facilities.

Ball Park

The ballpark sits on 28 acres and is surrounded by an oak forest. Currently it hosts a youth t-ball league for ages 4-6. The park also has hosted tourna­ments from around the area. In addition to the lighted ball field, the park has a pavilion, snack bar, playground and restroom facilities.

Dan Adams Hillbilly Disc Golf Course

The City of Laurie and the Parks and Events department welcomes you to the Dan Adams Hillbilly Disc Golf Course. This fun and challenging 9 hole course is great for all ages and ability levels. There is no cost to play and the course is open during daylight hours year-round with the exception of scheduled events at the fairgrounds.
